Finding Meaning in Empty Spaces
Yohaku / 余白, meaning "empty space," explored the emotional distance that exists between people even in moments of closeness. Inspired by the Japanese concept of negative space, the exhibition reflected on loneliness, depression, and the quiet gaps that shape our everyday lives. Through photography, Yohaku sought to acknowledge these feelings while reminding visitors that they are not alone.

Messages Across Distance
The exhibition brought together photographers and anonymous contributors who shared personal messages of encouragement, resilience, and hope. Each photograph was paired with reflections written for someone experiencing difficult days, creating an intimate dialogue between image and text. The project transformed individual experiences of loneliness into a collective expression of care and empathy.

Photography as Connection
More than a photography exhibition, Yohaku became an experiment in community support through art. By combining visual storytelling with anonymous messages, the exhibition invited visitors to find comfort within shared experiences and recognize that even the spaces separating us can become places of connection.
